About the Church
PENTECOSTAL UNITED HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH, the historic church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was formed in 2014
Pentecostal United Holy Spirit Church in Sioux Falls, SD, started with over 50 members. We have outgrown our existing facility (a portable building) and are trusting in God to provide the needed funds to purchase a new building.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
About Our Ministries
Music has always played an important role in the worship of God’s people. The purpose of our Ministries is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service.

Our adult choir (UPENDO CHOIR) is a ministry that functions under the music, worship, and creative arts ministry and therefore has the same mission which is to glorify God, for God to speak to us, and to edify each other.
​
Our Children/Youth choir (MAPAMBAZUKO CHOIR) is a ministry to help the children of the church to gain spiritual growth while being trained to have reverence for God, obey their parents, and get involved in ministerial activities.
Believers'Baptism
When born naturally a man is introduced in the way of the first man (1 Cor.15:48; Rom. 5:12) the one who was liable for sin and death of all human beings.

When born again, the sinner, acknowledges his sin and being repentant, is reconciled through the suffering death of the Lord Jesus (Gal. 2:20; 6:14).
​
Through this baptism, the sinner is born again by being cleansed in water and immersed in the death of Jesus. He is crucified with Christ and buried with him (Rom. 6:4-6).

After getting rid of the old nature, the new nature raises with Christ for a new life in a renewed life in Christ.
​
Every action that happens or is commanded from inside the heart, is confirmed when it appears outside. Faith and confessions or testimonies must follow (Rom.10-10).

Baptism is a perfect sign in the way of following Jesus Christ the Lamb of God.It's a seal or confirmation of reconciliation and evidence of a clear conscience before God (1 Pet.3:21b)
​
NB:To enter deep water, to be immersed and to come out means to die, to be buried and to rise. This baptism is done in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Mat. 28:19).
